Booty dropped
A motor-cyclist dropped and smashed several bottles of beer during an opportunist theft from a New Brighton hotel on Saturday evening. The man took a crate from a storeroom at the Esplanade Tavern, but left most of the booty in the car-park in his haste to get away. The theft occurred at 7 p.m.
