The plant operates on a 5-day week double shift basis with a total crew of 185 and includes a wide range of processing facilities plus a vehicle workshop. The successful applicant will report directly to the Site Manager and responsibilities will include: • Planning and control of all electrical, mechanical, engineering and site maintenance. • Control of purchasing and stores. • Capacity to identify and implement cost saving ideas and plant improvement. • Control of operating costs and achievement of budgetary and other company objectives. Applicants should have a proven track record in sawmilling and timber processing maintenance together with strong management and motivational skills.
