Three brothers face murder charge

NZPA-AAP Perth Three brothers appeared in a Perth court charged with murdering a New Zealand man who died after being bashed outside a country hotel.

The brothers were not required to plead in Perth Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody for a preliminary hearing on November 9. It is alleged the brothers bashed Craig

McDonald, of South Canterbury, outside a hotel in the Western Australian wheatbelt town of Kellerberrin on June 1. McDonald died in the Royal Perth Hospital on June 5.

Those charged were Gregory Paul Macintosh and Anthony Peter Macintosh, both 21, and Phillip Macintosh, aged 29, all of Kellerberrin. The brothers did not apply for bail.
