Campaign opens

About 50 supporters attended the opening of Ms Vicki Buck’s mayoral campaign office yesterday.
Ms Buck said the office, at 161 Hereford Street, had been set up as a centre to co-ordinate the campaign effort. Members of the public could call in to offer ideas or suggestions on the campaign or mayoral issues. The office will be staffed by Ms Buck’s campaign team and supporters on a daily roster. Supporters had paid for the rent and provided office furniture, she said.
