Funeral business
France's biggest undertaker has bought a major share in Britain’s funeral business as a first step to international expansion. The French funeral firm, Pompes Funebresd Generales SA (PFG), which controls almost half of its country’s market, announced it had bought 25 per cent of PHK International, Pic, a new company combining Britain’s two biggest undertakers, Hodgson Holdings and Kenyon Securities.
