Funding for Y.F.C.
Young Farmers clubs I will continue to receive t funding from the Ministry t of Agriculture and Fisher- s ies. The Minister of Agricul- ; ture, Mr Moyle, told the annual conference of the 1 Federation of Young ] Farmers Clubs recently < that in spite of the Gov- < ernment’s policy of en- 1 couraging organisations to i stand on their own feet, i
M.A.F. had agreed to continue to support the clubs through a new sponsorship arrangement. The funding would total about $160,000 a year. “The details are still being worked through, but I am confident that it will allow you to take more control of your own destiny, and at the same time enhance the linkages with M.A.F.,” Mr Moyle said.
