The new corporate management team includes Managers, Services; Administration and Planning; and Finance and Trading, all of which are directly responsible to the General Manager. The completion of this team requires the appointment of visionary and innovative applicants to: MANAGER, FINANCE AND TRADING Responsible for the financial control and performance of the Council, the Manager, Finance and Trading has specific responsibilities including: • the provision of an internal financial management system • the management of all Council trading operations • the management and development of up to 24 staff. Applicants should ideally possess ACA qualification, be thoroughly familiar with requirements of Public Sector Accounting Concepts, and command a $70,000 remuneration package. MANAGER, ADMINISTRATION AND PLANNING This pivotal position has responsibility for all Council administration and a dual role of both Town and Country and Corporate planning. Other specific responsibilities include: • installation and review of management information systems • human resource management for the Council • fulfilment of statutory requirements • Council administration and correspondence. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a level of experience conducive to corporate management, preferably tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, and the ability to sustain a remuneration package of around $65,000.
