Comedy rerun
Three comedies from the recent New Zealand Theatre Federation’s Festival of Community Theatre will be re-run at the Elmwood Playhouse from July 19 to 22, with 8 p.m. performances. Two plays are new scripts in their first season. “A Kind of Image” (written by Barry Grant) is a quirky look at love stories, real and fictional. “The Pin-Striped Suit” (by Barbara Neale) is the other newcomer. It is performed by the St Christopher’s Drama Group. Barry Grant’s “With an E” is the third play, presented by the Peripatetic Players.
