SMALE, Christopher Edward (Chris) — On July 9,1989 (as a result of an accident at the Hanmer turn-off), dearly loved eldest son of Peter and Pam Smale (Motueka), loved brother of Mark and Melanie, and loved grandson of Kath and the late Athol Smale (Blenheim), and David and Marjorie Skinner (Timaru); aged 20 years.
