Crowe to lead team 11
The New Zealand batsman, Martin Crowe, will lead a Rest of the World 11 against an England 11 in two oneday matches in Jesmond, County Durham, on August 3 and 4. The Rest of the World 11 will be drawn up from a list of players which includes Graeme Hick, Malcolm Marshall, Simon O’Donnell, Gus Logie, Desmond Haynes and Jeff Dujon. Crowe captained a World 11 which comfortably beat Glamorgan in a day and night match at Swansea this week.—NZPA
