A male and two females with a child left without paving their account at Pavillions, Papanui Road. The group stayed from June 10 to 14.

The male is described as European, aged about 25, 175 cm tall, curly, collarlength sandy hair. Both females have blonde hair and are about lGscm tall, ageed in their early 20s. One had a child, male, aged about four with black hair and dark complexion.

A man stole $125 from Pegasus Service Station, Main North Road, on June 16 at 8.45 p.m. He is described as European. aged mid 30s, 188 cm tall, black wavy hair to collar, wearing a bright teal-blue long-sleeved shirt, black trousers and belt.

Drugs were obtained by false prescription from Papanui Pharmacy, Papanui Road, on June 16.

Other recent burglaries have included the New Zealand Fire Service Training School, Ferry Road, Woolston, on June 19 and 20. Stolen were two oxyacetylene gas gauges, two 10m welding hoses and a welding torch.

On June 20, a house in Grahams Road was entered. Stolen were a Mitsubishi stereo system, electronic Panasonic typewriter, brooches, rings, earrings, gold chain, and a Canonette auto rewind 35inm camera.

Overnight on June 20-21 Lichfield New Zealand, Ltd, 179 Tuam Street, was broken into. Sixty-three Kiton label jerseys were stolen. Of these, 34 are V-neck in assorted colours and 29 are crew neck, assorted sizes and colours.
