Hooker suspended
NZPA-AAP Sydney The Australian stock exchange said it has suspended the securities of Hooker Corp from short selling. The exchange said the move was made because the company’s market capitalisation has fallen to less than sAustloo million (SNZI32 million) , which is the limit prescribed by Business Rule 2.18(13)(b).
Hooker securities will remain available from trading other than short sales, the exchange said. Hooker shares opened 4c higher yesterday at 34, valuing the company at sAust6s million. The shares have traded as high as 215 this year.
