Swedes seen later?
PA . Hamilton The police investigating the disappearance of the Swedish tourists, Urban Hoglin and Heidi Paakkonen, say they may have a new sighting of the couple in Port Jackson on April 8. Detective Senior-Sergeant Bruce Raffan said a Whitianga farmer reported seeing a couple in a white Subaru pull up at the ablution block in the Port Jackson camping ground between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. that day. The farmer watched the couple, who fitted the description of the missing tourists, wash
dishes, Detective Senior-Sergeant Raffan said. At the same time a white van pulled up with a sliding door on the left side and carrying a 1 European man in his 50s, a plumpish woman with short dark hair in her 40s, and a young man in his late teens. The farmer said the three people spoke to the couple. The police feel it is vital to find them to confirm whether the couple were the Swedes and if so whether, they discussed their movements, Detective Senior-Ser-geant Raffan said.
