Fixed interest securities offered
Trident Securities, Ltd, has established a special department to deal in fixed interest securities. These include Government, local body, and Hospital Board stock, commercial and bank bills, and corporate bonds. “In view of recent movements both in market perception and local representation we feel that it is timely to introduce this service to both our existing and expanding client base,” says Roger Lewis, a director of Trident Securities. “The fixed interest dealing desk is to be operated by Leeanne Carson who comes from a background of six years in the finance industry. Over the last two
years, Leeanne was employed by B.N.Z. Financial Markets as their South Island fixed in-
terest dealers.”
As independent financial planners, Trident assumes the responsibility of providing appropriate information flow on investment markets. “Different investments are attractive during different market conditions, and fixed interest investments offer a number of advantages on the present investment climate.
“They combine an acceptable rate of return, with security of capital, flexible terms, and a regular flow of income. In addition they may be traded, enabling clients to convert their investment back into cash if required. Lack of establishment fees is another attraction in utilising fixed interest securities.”
