Innovative portfolio monitoring service
Trident Securities, Limited, has launched an innovative portfolio monitoring service in conjunction with AMP Perpetual Trustees.
Trident director Phillip Harris says the service, “Trident Watch,” will provide clients with quarterly computerised reports on the performance of their investments including income produced, market value of investments and investment and economic forecasts.
“Trident Watch” will also provide clients with' a special report at the end of the tax year with full details of assessible income, capital growth and imputation credits.
“Accountants will find the service particularly beneficial for clients as the reports provided will save them considerable time collecting information for which they have generally been reluctant to charge appropriately,” Mr Harris says. Trident also expects significant interest from legal firms wishing to provide a high level of accountability to clients in respect of trust funds.
A feature of “Trident Watch” is that existing investment portfolios including sharemarket investments can be monitored by the system. According to Mr Harris it is time that financial advisers provided on-going service for clients that
represents real value for money. “If people are not happy with the level of service and support they currently get from their stockbroker or financial planner then we are more than happy to assist them,” he says. Trident recently changed its name from Optima Financial, Limited, when independent Australian financial planner Trident Securities, Limited, took a minority interest in the company. Trident Australia has a reputation for innovation and it is expected that “Trident Watch” will encourage further developments in the New Zealand financial markets.
