Summer trail
By
RHYS THOMAS
Aged 10 Walk along the beach With the tide crashing against the rocks. The schools of fish in the water. The sun reflecting on the water. Wind flittering the water. Birds gliding in the wind. The seagulls bathing in the sun, With yachts gathering the wind in their sails of many different colours. Water foaming in the mist of spray from the roaring tide. Boats on the horizon glowing in the sun. Walking along the track you see shag rock, In a moat of water. You can listen to the seagulls, squawking in the distance.
