Bubbly awaits birth
I’m not one to gossip, but ... proud papa-to-be Michael J. Fox has just shelled out more than $3OOO for a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, vintage 1955. He plans to pop the cork in the delivery room when his actresswife Tracy Pollan gives birth to their first baby. With their five children preparing to leave home, Bill Cosby and his wife Camille want a new baby so badly, they may adopt one very soon.
Yul Brynner’s son Rock is about to launch his book about his late father on the American market next week. From what I hear, most people who have read advance copies think it is full of rubbish, and he’s only written it to cash in. Sean Penn has fallen head-over-heels for exwife Madonna’s bitter rival, La Toya Jackson. Hollywood’s bad boy first invited Michael’s baby sister out when he went to
New York to host television’s “Saturday Night Live.” Since then the romance has very quickly blossomed. Former “Scarecrow and Mrs King” star Bruce Boxleitner was recently offered a cool $200,000 to pose nude for “Playgirl” magazine, but turned it down.
Dollywood park in Tennessee which Doily Parton established is about to spend a further $45 million on building Dolly’s own hotel in the park. It’s planned as a Victorianstyle castle with a decorating scheme featuring pink and soft lavender. “It’s designed by women and for women,” says Dolly.
BOWWOO©
Old-time movie star Greta Garbo, who’s lived in New York for the last 30 years, is selling her Beverly Hills home for $4.3 million. A fan is about to buy the house and let it out for weekends; all it will cost you is
$30,000 for two days — that includes the bed Greta once slept in. He already has four weekends booked by fans ... but my lips are sealed.
