Leadership
Kia ora teacher, The theme of leadership is an important thread which runs through the entire Form I to IV syllabus. Some aspects and main ideas you may wish to consider include: Form I: How individuals and groups in our own and other communities choose leaders. Form II: The interaction between people and their environment. Form III: Social organisation and controls develop in response to the cultural and physical environment. Form IV: Change may occur when people become dissatisfied with their economic, social and political conditions. All the above curriculum guidelines provide useful frameworks for looking at leadership in countries as diverse as China, Britain, Argentina, Kampuchea and New Zealand.
