Rescuers remove sand from the Jet Ranger helicopter in which the broadcaster, Paul Holmes, and a television crew crashed in Anaura Bay, 70km north of Gisborne, on Saturday evening. Removing the sand allowed another helicopter to lift the wreckage off the beach. An inspector of air accidents is investigating.
