BIRSS, George Shaw — On June 23, 1989 (peacefully), at St John of God Hospital, beloved husband of the late Alice (Allie), brother-in-law of Ethel Massey (Mosgiel), and friend of Olive and Rod McCaw. No flowers, please. Our special thanks to the doctor concerned and the sisters, nurses and staff of St John of God, for their devoted care of George. BLAKELY, Esmec Lillian (Sally) — On June 23, 1989, at North Shore Hospital, Auckland, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Justine and Terry Sanders, Jose, Margot, Phillipa, Warrick Grieve, Stuart and Gillian, and loved Da of her 12 grandchildren. The service will be held Tomorrow (Tuesday), at 1 p.m. at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Takapuna, Auckland, followed by private cremation. No flowers, by request. All communication to Mrs P. BOURNE, Dorothy Irene — On June 25, 1989, at Christchurch Hospital, dearly loved wife and companion of Alfred James Bourne, loved mother and mother-in-law of Maurice and Shirley, Ross and Hillary (London), Sandra and Mervyn Radford, Denise and Doug Martin, and loved nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
