NZPA-AFP Bangkok New Zealand defeated Indonesia, 3-1, yesterday to secure seventh place in the fourth Princess Cup women’s volleyball championships at the National Gymnasium in Bangkok. New Zealand; won 16-14, 5-15, 17-15, 15-10. Communalnik, of the Soviet Union, emerged the champion defeating the two-time champion, Fujian, of China, 15-11, 11-15, 15-8, 15-1. In the match for third place, Toshiba beat Unitika 13-15, 1513,’ 5-15, 15-4, 15-13 in an all-Japanese affair. Taiwan defeated Thailand A 15-2, 17-16, 15-6 in the match for fifth place.
