Woman identified
The police have identified a woman who was found dead about 20m from her wrecked car down a bank off State highway one just south of Porirua on Saturday. She was Lorraine Diane Kanuta, aged 38, of Porirua. The Porirua police said they believed she was the sole occupant of the car and were not looking for anyone else. It was thought she lost contol of the car and skidded down the bank early on Saturday. The police would like to hear from anyone who might have seen the incident after midnight on Friday. — PA.
