Heated air circulates through large spaces
Heating open-plan homes, large rumpus rooms or commercial premises, can often be a headache. Some heaters are available, but their fuel efficiency ratings leave home-owners cold. One of New Zealand’s largest manufacturers of gas heaters, Rinnai New Zealand, Ltd, offers the Energysaver 1001, an attractive unit for natural gas or L.P.G., especially designed for efficiently heating large spaces.
Energysaver 1001 has twin high performance blowers that circulate a large volume of heated air, quietly and effectively heating about 100 sq m. The convenience of automatic electronic ignition, excellent temperature control, a humidifier tray (which indoor plants will appreciate) and low level air discharge (warm air leaves the base of the heater which warms feet and combats low draughts), all contribute
to the heater’s high efficiency. Its stainless steel heat exchangers are specifically designed to extract more than 80 per cent of heat from the gas. The heater is fiued, so it requires installation on an outside wall, where just a small 80mm diameter hole will be made for the flue. The Energysaver 1001, like all Rinnai heaters, has been approved by the Gas Association of New Zealand.
