P and O Containers (N.Z.), Ltd, will be the New Zealand agents for Australia New Zealand Direct Line on their North American service from July. Christchurch importers and exporters will be able to make freight bookings with P and O's Christchurch branch. The line’s New Zealand representative, Mr Noel Coom, said P and O containers were a well established and respected force in the New Zealand marketplace, offering nationwide service "Our Christchurch customers now have the opportunity to access the A.N.Z.D.L. North American service together with all other major international markets P and O currently serve."
