Mercy Hospital (Auckland). dearly loved brother of Freda (Mrs Baker), and the late Rene, loved brother-in-law of the late Joe. dearly loved uncle of Judy and Kevin Smart (Palm Beach. Queensland). great-uncle of Wendy (Mrs Guse. Southport, Queensland). Raewyn. (Surfers Paradise. Queensland), and great-great-uncle of Jenny, Cassie and Jason Guse; ag’ed 76 years. SHAW, William Robbrt (Bill), of 14 Hood Crescent, Arrowtown — On June 1, 1989, at Lakes District Hospital, Queenstown, much loved husband of Alva, dearly loved father of Barrie, Bronwyn and Glen, and adored friend of Kay and the late Tony Smith, and pop of Dean, Lynton, Jodine and Jessica (Christchurch); in his 78th year. STEEL, Murray Cruickshank (late of Ashburton) — On May 31, 1989 (suddenly), at Christchurch Hospital (result of an accident), beloved youngest son of the late John and Ann Steel, and brother of Irving, Margaret, and the late Robert.
