PARSONS. Raymond William Galbraith (Late U.8.D.) — On May 31. 1989. at St Joseph's Unit. Mercy Hospital (Auckland). dearly loved brother of Freda (Mrs Baker), and the late Rene, loved brother-in-law of the late Joe. dearly loved uncle of Judy and Kevin Smart (Palm Beach. Queensland). great-uncle of Wendy (Mrs Guse. Southport, Queensland). Raewyn. (Surfers Paradise. Queensland), and great-great-uncle of Jenny, Cassie and Jason Guse; ag’ed 76 years. SHAW, William Robbrt (Bill), of 14 Hood Crescent, Arrowtown — On June 1, 1989, at Lakes District Hospital, Queenstown, much loved husband of Alva, dearly loved father of Barrie, Bronwyn and Glen, and adored friend of Kay and the late Tony Smith, and pop of Dean, Lynton, Jodine and Jessica (Christchurch); in his 78th year. A special person to us all. Cut flowers preferred. SHAW, William Robert (Bill) — On June 1, 1989, at Lakes District Hospital, Queenstown, loved son of the late Robert and Barbara Shaw, loved brother and brother-in-law of Barbara and the late Charlie Swan (Christchurch). Bill and the late Mary Dennison (Arrowtown), Tom and Margaret (Wyndham), Kathleen and the late Eddie Dolan (Nelson), Joy and Alan Doig (Dunedin), and Ngaire and Ken Galloway (Nelson), and much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

STEEL, Murray Cruickshank (late of Ashburton) — On May 31, 1989 (suddenly), at Christchurch Hospital (result of an accident), beloved youngest son of the late John and Ann Steel, and brother of Irving, Margaret, and the late Robert.
