The in-form hurdler Valrodian seems set to follow in the footsteps of another top Taranaki jumper Outright, by winning the $lOO,OOO Tanalith Northern Hurdles at the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting at Ellerslie tomorrow.

Valrodian, from the powerful lan Adams-John Wheeler stable, earned favouritism for the 4190-metre feature when scoring a comfortable win in the Allegra Park Waikato Hurdles a fortnight ago. Race 3 12.40
