Vitamin cigarettes
NZPA-Reuter Budapest A Hungarian company has launched a cigarette containing Vitamin C. Tobacco smoke destroys Vitamin C in the impregnated filter instead of the smoker’s body, the Hungarian news agency, MTI-Econews, quoted the
Pecs Tobacco Factory as saying. The cigarette is the first to be granted advertising time on Hungarian Television.
Vitamin C levels are 40 per cent lower in heavy smokers than in nonsmokers, the news agency said.
