Johnson buys house
NZPA Hollywood “Miami Vice” star Don Johnson has bought the one-time Beverly Hills home of Bert Lahr, the famous Cowardly Lion of “The Wizard of Oz.” Johnson is pursuing a film career following the end of the Miami-based cops-and-robbers television show. .
The “Los Angeles Times” said Johnson paid more than SUS 3 million (SNZ4.9 million) for the house, whose grounds boast gardens and tennis courts. Johnson and actress Melanie Griffith are engaged and expecting a baby.
