Motor-cyclist dies in crash
A motor-cyclist was killed instantly when he hit a power pole after colliding with a car in Templeton yesterday. He was Aiden McLaughlin, aged 36, a charge nurse, of Hornby. A Ministry of Transport spokesman, Senior-Ser-geant Geoff Scott, 4hid the accident occurred at the
intersection of Maddisons Road and Kirk Road at 1.15 p.m. “The car was travelling west on Maddisons Road and the motor-cyclist was travelling north-west on Kirk Road, when the collision occurred,” he said. Officers were still investigating the accident last evening.
