BAINTON, Alfred Edward (late of Lyttelton Harbour Board) — On April 26, 1989 (peacefully), at Christchurch Hospital, dearly loved husband of Doris, loved father of Shirley, Graeme and Janice (Mrs Breitmeyer, Rangiora), loved father-in-law of Jeanette and John, loved granddad of Sharon, Alan, Marie, Warner, Nicholas, and Andrew, and loved greatgranddad of Daniel and Nathan; in his 80th year. No flowers, by request, but donations in his memory to the New Zealand Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral service will be held in the Harewood Crematorium Chapel, 507 Johns Road, Tomorrow (Friday), at 1.30 p.m. John Rhind, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z. (Inc.).
