Sugar cavity
The London traders. Gill and Duffus, have raised their estimate of the world sugar production shortfall in 1988 89 to 822,000 tonnes, from 640,000 tonnes forecasi last February. In their latest review, the traders cut their world production estimate by 0.9 million tonnes to 106.5 M tonnes.
