MINISTRY OF COMMERCE TE MANATU TAI HO KOHOKO TARIFF INDUSTRY ASSISTANCE CONCESSION REVIEW CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS TARIFF CHAPTERS BRIEF DESCRIPTION 2 to 15 Animal and Vegetable Products induding Fats, Oils and Waxes 16 to 24 Prepared Foodstuffs, Beverages eta, Tobacco, 71 Jewellery, etc. 93 Arms and Ammunition 94 to 96 Furniture, Toys, Sports Requisites and other Manufactured Artides Tariff items falling within the above Tariff Chapters, for which concessions are currently granted, are being redrafted as part of the tariff concession review. Submissions are invited from interested parties. In order to retain existing levels of tariff protection, manufacturers of goods falling within these Tariff Chapters should notify the Customs Department of their production by 15 May 1989. Forms for this purpose are available from all Customs Ports and when completed should be sent to the Concessions Project Team as follows: Chapters 16 to 24 and 93 to the Collector of Customs, PO Box 2218, Wellington; and Chapters 2to 15,71 and 94 to 96 to the Collector of Customs, PO Box 29, Auckland. A list of tariff items being reviewed in these Tariff Chapters together with the timetable covering the review of other Tariff Chapters are also available from Customs Ports.
