$10,000 cannabis
PA Nelson The Nelson police recovered cannabis valued between $lO,OOO and $12,000 when they searched a property at Puramahoi, north west of Takaka.
Sergeant Bill Homan, who went to the property on Monday with three other policemen, said yesterday about skg of the drug was recovered. A man, aged 27, was arrested for permitting premises to be used for, possession of cannabis, possession of the drug, and cultivation of it. Another man, aged 27, from Takaka was arrested for possession of cannabis for supply.
The men were due to appear in the District Court at Nelson.
