Prices up for most flowers
This week’s cold, wet weather has caused a drop in the quantity of flowers available. As a result, prices for most varieties have risen. However, the warm weather of recent months can be thanked for the early arrival of some spring flowers. The sol-d--or and roma, both mem bers of the spring bulb family, appeared this week to brighten the market scene. There were also good quantities of erica and agonis available from the North Island and South Island.
