Exposition for elderly
A trade and leisure fair for the elderly will be held in Masterton in June. The Golden Years Expo, from June 9 to 11, will involve much of the Wairarapa community, as well as national manufacturers, suppliers and tradespeople. The exposition is the idea of Sister Monica, of the Brigidine Order in Masterton, who is now the co-ordinator of the Golden Years Expo organising committee.
The event is the first of its type in New Zealand, in honour of the over-50s age group, according to the committee.
