Executive appointments announced
PA Wellington Television New Zealand has announced four new executive appointments. TVNZ director of programmes Harold Anderson announced that Mr Michael Stedman, who heads the Natural History unit in Dunedin, is to become head of programme production for both networks.
Mr John McCready has been appointed network manager, in charge of all on-air presentation, promotions and publicity for both TV One and TV Two. In the programme planning area, Mr Anderson announced the appointment of Mr Tony Watts as head of feature film purchasing and scheduling. Also to join TVNZ’s programme planning department is New Zealander Janet Molly, who has had eight years experience in commercial television and radio in Australia. She arrived in Christchurch 18 months ago from Channel 7 in Perth to work first with Radio Avon, and then in the programme planning department of TV3 in Auckland.
