Hector’s dolphin

Sir, -j- B. R. Walker (March 28) should know that rabbits were introduced into New Zealand, likewise opossums, ferrets, rats, etc., which had a wonderful time killing off flightless birds and others. Dolphins, on the other hands, do “live here” and have not been introduced. I believe that Akaroa harbou£/and surrounding seas should ‘Sector the enjoyment of all and not only set-net fishermen. — Yours, etc., GUY H. GOLDSBOROUGH. March 29, 1989.
