Bets with the T.A.B. on the Whangarei Racing Club’s meeting yesterday totalled $2,116,311. (Win and place $1,031,361, quinellas $490,330, doubles $121,431, trifectas $366,519 and trebles $106,650.) The total was up $123,432 on last year’s figure. On-course bets amounting to $272,029; were down $63,697.
