Sarin Carmody, aged seven, of Wakatu, whose suggestion, Myall, won the competition to name the new zebra foal at Orana Park. Sarin visited the park last week-end with her grandparents. She got the idea for the name from a cousin’s English setter dog, called Myall. Myaii is African for a fleeting wind. Sarin broke her elbow when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle recently.
