Fatal car crash
1 ■■ ■ ; ’ » I >■: :i K An elderly man was killed and three others injured when the car they were travelling in crashed 2km south of Mount Somers about 3.15 p.m. yesterday. The name of the dead man has not been released. Traffic Officer Don Best, of Ashburton, said the car appeared to have gone out of control, rolling over several times before coming to rest on its roof. The three other occupants were admitted to Ashburton Hospital with minor injuries.
