CARROLL, Alfred Taihoa (Tick) (28th Maori Battalion, 2nd N.Z.E.F.) (late C.T.8.) - On March 6, 1989, at Christchurch Hospital, dearly loved husband of the late Queenle (Kin), dearly loved father of Philip, Tini, Joe, Trevor, Marie, and Charlie, loved father-in-law of Sue, Wendy, Judith, Glenys, and John (London), and loved and cherished Boy of Justin, Moana, Isaac, Marley, Jade, the late Dylan, Nathan, Hami and Joshua, Lesley and Paul; aged 63 years. The cortege will leave his residence, 30 Landy Street, Dallington, Today (Wednesday), at midday, for Rehua Marae, Springfield Road. Extended whanau and friends are invited to attend an evening prayer service of thanksgiving at the Marae, Tomorrow (Thursday), at 7 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the Marae, on Friday, March 10, at 10 a.m., thence to the Memorial Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved Queenle.
