Man dies on pass

A man was killed last evening after the car he was driving crashed on the Sumner side of Evans Pass. The wrecked car was discovered 40 metres down a gully. The accident was reported just before 6.45 p.m. The name of the Christchurch man, aged 24, was unavailable early this morning. He was dead on arrival at Christchurch Hospital.
