Tenders CONTRACT FOR: BENMORE -AC SWITCHYARDS Tender Registration Civil Works Contractors are invited to register their interest in tendering for civil construction work at Benmore. The work comprises excavation of approximately 40,000m 3 of cut-to-fill and cut-to-waste of river gravels to form a level construction platform, preparation of road formation and chip sealing approximately 2000m 2 , supply and installation of 1600 m sub soil drains, 800 m of stormwater drains, including sumps, manholes and oil interceptor tanks and 700 m of fire ring mains including valves, hydrants etc. A septic tank drainage system including modification to an existing outfall may also be included. Contractors with a proven record in the above type of construction and/or job management will only be considered. The fact of registering will not necessarily imply that documents will be forwarded inviting a tender. Tender documents will be available within 46 weeks. Contractors wishing to register should do so in writing advising past work experience, present company status and current contract commitments including details of plant and labour workforce.
