The managed unit within Colonial Mutual’s marketlinked superannuation fund had a 14.1 per cent return in the latest year, said the company’s investment manager, Mr Frank Pearson. Equities (16.5 per cent) and fixed interest securities (15.7 per cent) offset low property returns (4.9 per cent). The superannuation fund rose from SI64M to S2OOM mainly because of new clients.
