Linwood wins sevens
Linwood retained its Canterbury rugby sevens title when it beat Sydenham, SO--16, in the final at Rugby Park last evening. Phil Cropper and Graeme Bachop both scored two tries for the winner. The Canterbury team for a regional tournament in Dunedin next Sunday and the Fresh Up national tournament in Palmerston North on March 4 and 5 was named after the final.
