MULVIHILL’S PROPERTY BEAUTIFUL VALLEY GERALDINE HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY WITHELLS ROAD LOAN 1989 AT its meeting held on Wednesday, February 15, 1989, the Council resolved that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the local Government Act 1974, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Exemption Order 1986, and amendments thereto and all other Acts, if any, enabling it in that behalf, the Waimairl District Council resolves to proceed to raise in New Zealand a loan to be known as the Housing for the Elderly Withells Road Loan 1989 for an amount of Six Hundred and Thirty Thousand Dollars ($630,000) for the purpose of erecting an Eighteen Unit Complex within Waimairl District subject to the following determinations: 1. The maximum term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 25 years. 2. Interest rates will be at the rate of 3.5% per annum or at the rate applied by the Housing Corporation .at the date of the first quarterly progress payment, reviewable at intervals of not less than one year. 3. The loan or any part thereof, together with Interest thereon, shall be re- • paid by half-yearly instalments of principal and interest. 4. The Council hereby appropriates and pledges a special annual recurring rate of .02818 cents In the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property In the District of Waimairl. 5. No borrowing shall be undertaken in currencies other than New Zealand dollars. 6. Commlsson or fees may be paid In respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof as the Local Authorities Loan Board may determine from time to time. 7. Such other determinations of the Local Authorities Loans Board as are applicable. It was further recommended that the foregoing resolution be publicly notified and submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Waimairl District Council to be held In the Council Chambers, Fendalton, at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, March 15, 1989, for confirmation as a Special Order.
