Architects’ chief takes office
The new president of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects, Mr Ron Flook, will take office this month. He is known for his award-winning urban landscape designs such as Wellington’s Midland Park and Manukau City’s Manukau Court. He has
been a landscape design consultant for Boffa Miskell and Partners since 1984. Mr Flook’s aim as the new president is to raise the profile of landscape architects. He plans to take every opportunity to speak throughout the country on the role of the profession.
