Anti-frigate meeting
The Citizens Against Frigates group is sponsoring a public meeting in Christchurch on Friday evening to debate the Anzac frigates project. The meeting, in the Stringleman Room at the Canterbury Public Library, , will be held at 7.30 p.m. It will be addressed by antifrigate peace activists as well as the members of Parliament for Lyttelton, Dr Peter Simpson and Avon, Mr Larry Sutherland.
