INDOOR PAPER GAMES Number maze (2 or more players) You need: • A large piece of paper • A pencil or pen — share one, or have one each. How to play: Write the numbers from 1 to 20 twice on the piece of paper. Make sure you scatter them around. Each player takes it in turn to join any pair of numbers (1-1, 16-16) with a line, and without crossing another line. The last player able to draw a line is the winner. It can be made more difficult by using only straight lines to join the numbers. CROSS IT OUT (1 or more players) Each player needs a page from a newspaper, (one with lots of words), and a pen or pencil. How to play: Set a time limit. On the word, “Go" cross out all the letters “A” or “a” on your page. Who can cross out the most in a set time? You can work your
way through the alphabet, or choose little common words instead, e.g. “the,” “of,” “in,” etc. This game is a good one for a car journey too.
