Fast run for Erin Baker
Erin Baker, the world-class triathlete from Christchurch, zipped around North Hagley Park in a skm fun run last evening in a time of 16min 335.
It was her first fast run in her training as she prepares for another season of triathlons, but it was 23s faster than that of the next fastest woman, Rowyn Hocking (Christchurch), who was the fastest woman in the race for registered athletes. A record 470 took part in the fun run and 159 in the race. Results.—
